Mt. Carmel Youth Camp

What to Expect:

This weekend will be filled with all things camping- campfires, hikes, roasting hot dogs, going to sleep hearing the crickets and waking up to the sunrise. If you have never been camping we are here to answer your questions, remind you to put on bug spray and make sure you are prepared for each activity. If you are an experienced camper, this trip can be a fun way to connect with your friends and show them something you love. 

We will have all the gear and food you need for the whole weekend. As long as you pack everything on the packing list, you will be prepared. This campsite has running water and flush toilets, so you won't be roughing it too much.

Packing List:

• Small backpack (school book bag size)- Everything you pack should be able to fit in this bag

• T-shirt

• Pants 

• Sweatshirt

• Rain Jacket

• Underwear

• Socks

• Shoes comfortable for hiking (Tennis shoes, Hiking boots you have worn many times before, Chacos or fully strapped on sandals)

  • Not brand new boots

  • Not slip on shoes like vans

  • Not fashionable fall boots

  • Not slides, flip flops or unsupported sandals 

• Toothbrush and paste

• Glasses, contacts, solution (if applicable)

• Feminine hygiene products (if applicable)

• Medication needed for 3 days (will be held by Inner Trek Guide)

• Hat 

• Sunglasses

• 2 water bottles 

• Headlamp or flashlight 

• Journal, bible, pen 

• Camp chair

Do not bring:

• Drugs, alcohol, vaping products

• Gun or knives longer than 3” blade

• Electronics
